Mario’s Tour of Southern Italy - Semptember 2017

Dear Mario,
We really enjoyed our trip to the Amalfi Coast in the Campania region in Italy.
The hotel accommodations were great with beautiful views and an awesome breakfast buffet. Getting to and from all of the interesting sites we visited and excursions (ziplining, wine tasting and boat ride) was stress free as Mario’s drivers were excellent.
We just relaxed and enjoyed the ride in awe of the beauty before us, taking pictures around every corner. The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty to eat (“keep your fork” was a frequent saying!). We enjoyed the variety of lunches and dinners that Mario selected, which made it so easy for us.
Mario’s tips on how to prepare certain foods to eat were a bonus (mussels with fresh lemon juice only, fresh anchovies on buttered bread). The wine and Limoncello are a must!!
We particularly enjoyed meeting Mario’s family and friends and being active participants in the cooking class. Mario’s knowledge about the history of all the wonderful places we visited made him the perfect tour guide. Honestly, we couldn’t imagine anyone better to show us the Amalfi Coast top to bottom than Mario.
