Our Campania vacation with Mario as our guide was extraordinary… likely the best vacation ever! While we thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the Mediterranean, experiencing the stunning Amalfi coastline and its villages, meeting regional artists, exploring medieval castles and palaces, our family favorite was the mountain Village of Laurino. The people of Laurino were very welcoming, the local food superb, and the history fascinating. Being located within a national park, Laurino is surrounded by extensive natural beauty with easy access to walking paths, some of which include medieval footbridges and waterfalls.
Our rich experiences in Campania and a deeper appreciation for Italian daily life were enabled by Mario, our guide extraordinaire.
