Mario’s Tour of Southern Italy - 2026

Mario put together an amazing trip for us thr Puglia region of Italy. This was our family's third tour of Italy with Mario, and as all always this trip was again amazing.
From the moment we met Mario at the Bari airport until we said goodbye at the same spot ten days later, the experience together was unique and very special. Mario has become part of our family, and spending the time together with him goes well beyond being just another vacation..
Mario's preparation was detailed and he made a point to understand what we were looking to experience. And he made sure that the plans would support our son who has a disability. Throughout the planning process Mario consistently communicated with us and was gracious with his time. We reviewed the trip over several incredible meals that he prepared for us while also sharing a few laughs of memories from our past trips.
From the second we arrived in Bari, greeted by the smile of Mario at the airport, until we left, his preparations came to life. There was not a single issue throughout the entire trip. The relationships that Mario has in Italy, drivers, restaurant owners, and those that he made along the way were genuine and further made the trip special. He find the most unique accomodations that are one of a kind.
While we saw many amazing things in Puglia, it was the people we encountered along the way which made it such an amazing experience. His attention to detail and the desire to make sure that everything was just right is always a rare and beyond professional experience.
This was yet another trip of a lifetime to a new are of a land we've come to love, and one that we extend our deepest gratitude.
As mentioned, Mario is now part of our family and we highly recommend him not only for Italy tours, but also his wonderful restaurant experience, cooking classes, and catering services.
